There are moments when it is not possible to understand, only to transcend. These are moments of deep surrender. A surrender to the sound of the maracas that rhythm the steps, that step on the earth as if they wanted to take root in it, that are born from the seeds that they carry in their clothes and sometimes break off and take with them pieces of life. A surrender to the perfume of ameska that ignites the fire and inebriates the senses, to the starry sky and the moon that illuminates it, to the fire that transforms wood into embers and lends its shine to bodies painted with annatto.
